It was a beautiful day in Cache Valley photographing these ladies learning how to fish on the river. It was also one of the scarier shoots (for my camera gear) I've had in a while. Only the girls in the photos got to wear waders and boots. See the photo where they are crossing a pond with their arms outstretched? The water hit me mid-thigh. I hiked up my pants, took off my shoes, secured my equipment and wobbled carefully over the super slick stones. I knew if I stepped on one rock wrong, or hit a slimy patch my camera and I would be gonners. I hiked it through the beyond-my-head-tall grass, dirt, rocks, mud and freezing cold water in bare feet. So basically I had a great time and will do whatever I need to to get the photo.
